Who else but our very own Jeremy Stern would offer King Charles an ice cream at a formal event? That’s exactly what he did at a recent reception at Windsor Castle to celebrate his company, PromoVeritas, being awarded the prestigious King’s Award for Enterprise. Of course Jeremy anticipated that his Majesty would ask exactly what the company does and came prepared to show him! This is a Fab tale with a Twister…
PromoVeritas (which verifies retail/commercial promotions and competitions – to assure participants that the prize offered is genuine) is currently running an Instant Win promotion for an ice cream brand in Scandinavia (not Swedish Glace!). They created a dozen fakes (not Flakes!) and replaced the wooden stick with a solid 24 carat gold one (yes it was really solid gold). These were hidden in stores across the region. Anyone lucky enough to find one of these could keep it as a prize worth approx. £4,000! One wonders if they also got the ice-cream they came in for but maybe they preferred to celebrate with another kind of chilled Magnum! As a result, sales of the ice cream have zoomed and the company’s lolly has rocketed!

Although not exactly a Feast fit for a King, Jeremy just happened to have one with him at Windsor Castle.
His Majesty loved it. Kol Ha K’vod to Jeremy and his colleagues.
